Sandhills SCORE

SCORE provides free and confidential small business mentoring, assistance with preparation of business plans, financial projections and business registration. We offer counseling for all aspects of the business process.

About

The Sandhills SCORE Chapter is an all-volunteer, non-profit, 501c4 organization, and one of over 320 chapters in SCORE, which is itself a nationwide nonprofit association, and a resource partner of the US Small Business Administration dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. SCORE is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and thanks to a network of 11,000+ volunteers, SCORE Chapters are able to deliver our counseling services and products at no charge.

Our chapter serves Moore, Lee, Harnett, Cumberland, Hoke, Robeson, Scotland, and Richmond counties. Our volunteers are reside in several of these counties to ensure responsiveness to local Small Businesses and entrepreneurs establishing new businesses. The chapter is located adjacent to Fort Bragg, and we are proud that a significant percentage of our client base are military, veterans, or their spouses. As Fort Bragg is a major installation of the Department of Defense, our counseling also focuses on startups of small businesses seeking to participate in government contracting.

We take appointments Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 – 12 AM. Appointments for other times can also be arranged. We counsel at the Given Outpost 95 Cherokee Road in Pinehurst, NC.
