The North Carolina Biotechnology Center provides long-term economic and societal benefits to North Carolina through support of biotechnology research, business, education and strategic policy statewide. Headquartered in the Research Triangle Park, the Center has five regional offices, including the Southeastern Office in Wilmington, focused on regional biotechnology economic development.The North Carolina Biotechnology Center Southeastern Office focuses broadly on supporting the startup, development, growth, and recruitment of Life Sciences/Biotech-related business ventures related to a broad range of biotech-related innovations and commercial applications including agriculture, bioenergy, health, clinical research, advanced materials, industrial biotech, technology, or marine biotech.
