Katharine Boyd Library, Sandhills Community College

The Katharine L. Boyd Library belongs to the Community Colleges Libraries in NC (CCLINC). The CCLINC is a shared catalog with more than a million learning resources, making this library cooperative third in size among the libraries of publicly funded institutions of higher education in North Carolina.

About

Anyone who works or lives in Moore or Hoke County, and are 18 or older, may receive a free community patron library card to check out materials from Boyd Library.

Computer access is provided to community patrons at designated stations near the circulation desk; free WIFI access is also provided to those with their own devices.

Although wireless printing is not available, a courtesy is extended to community patrons to allow printing up to 10 pages per visit free of charge (additional pages can be printed for 10 cents each). 

Research assistance is provided by Librarians with Master’s Degrees and includes instruction on the use of database subscriptions.

Regular hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 7:45 AM to 6 PM, Friday 7:45 AM to 4 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM.
